The Hectare moves on.

ONE HECTARE is an open-air art and participatory exhibition in public space. The art exhibition includes several site-specific new works by international artists, in the form of performances, sculpture, sound installations, and videos. Parallel to the exhibition there will be a varied program of free public workshops and events. The exhibition is part of a broader effort to raise awareness and to foster a fruitful dialogue about the local and worldwide significance of soil. It is conceived as a forum for exchange and action, for art, science and people. The exhibition addresses soil and land from a local, global as well as a very personal perspective.
